Who's Writing This?

Hi!  I'm Lauren, and I am the one writing this blog.

 

I have always wanted to be a mom.  I have been looking forward to it for a long time.  Now that I’m pregnant it seems hard to believe that it’s finally here.  My husband and I got married when we were 21.  We had one more year of college left.  Then my husband continued on to seminary and I got a full time job as a financial aid counselor.  We were there for two years when my husband decided that he needed a break from full time school and was going to start looking for a ministry job.  We ended up moving to New Hampshire, from Tennessee, at the end of May and at the beginning of June we found out that we were pregnant.  It was a huge surprise but also a huge blessing.  We are both so excited.

                I was born and raised in Illinois and went to college in Tennessee, so being in New Hampshire is another adventure all in itself.  I am a huge people person.  I love to hang out with friends and family.  I love to play games and cook and just be with people.  I also love to read and watch movies.  I always keep track of how many I read and watch during the year and I usually get over 200 of each.  It’s something I really enjoy, and I’m hoping something that our child will enjoy one day.
